About city savvy gal

Hello! My name is Jess Hess and I have been in the fitness industry since 2004. With what started as a dream to work for Conan O' Brien lead to a fitness career starting 15+ years ago in New York City. And I couldn’t imagine it going any other way! City Savvy Gal was invented with the focus of creating an inclusive fitness community among clients and strengthening from the inside out!

As a coach my goal is to bring women into the fitness and self defense space with an effort to help them feel accepted and informed. Building a community through all that City Savvy Gal offers is of great importance to me. Whether you are training privately, joining a semi private session, or taking a Savvy Self Defense Class, I want you to feel a part of something BIG. City Savvy Gal is not only a representation of me, but a community that represents all who are involved. We are strong, resourceful, passionate, and supportive.
